Concerns about his health are also increasing.
Speaking to officials through a thin pipe on Monday (20 November), the workers expressed both despair and hope, pleading for quick rescue. He had a conversation with Arun Kumar, representative of Uttar Pradesh government. The conversation that took place was very worrying. Actually, 8 laborers from Uttar Pradesh are also trapped in this tunnel. These workers told Arun Kumar to take him out quickly, the condition here is very bad.
‘Don’t worry, keep your courage’
While talking to the workers, Arun Kumar encouraged them and said, “Don’t worry, maintain courage. The whole country is praying for you. The rescue operation will be successful soon and we will all go home together.” At the same time, during this conversation, a laborer from UP told Arun Kumar, “We are getting food but the condition of all of us is very bad. How far did the rescue operation extend? Get us out quickly. It is becoming difficult day by day.”
Apart from this, another laborer Ram Sundar said, “Tell our family members not to worry and take care of themselves.” The audio recording of this conversation was also shared with the family.
Governments of different states sent their representatives
Actually, workers from different states are trapped in this tunnel. The governments of these states sent their representatives to negotiate with the rescue agency. Arun Kumar Mishra is one of them, who was sent by the Uttar Pradesh government to inquire about the well being of the workers and the rescue work.
