One soldier also died in IED blast
Pakistani security forces have killed at least three terrorists during two intelligence-based operations in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of northwest Pakistan. A soldier also died in the IED blast. The army gave this information. Two terrorists were killed in a fierce exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district on Monday.
Terrorist dies due to bullet injury
Pakistan Army’s Information Branch said in a statement that one terrorist was killed by gunfire in a separate operation conducted in Kot Azam area of South Waziristan district. The department said security forces recovered arms and ammunition from the three slain terrorists who were actively involved in several terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.
The challenge is to eliminate the presence of terrorists
In another incident, a soldier was also killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Gharayum area of North Waziristan district. Security forces have launched operations in these areas to eliminate the presence of any terrorists in the area. The army said that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
