The stock market is witnessing a boom today i.e. Tuesday (21 November). Sensex opened with a gain of 205 points at 65,860. At the same time, Nifty also rose by 76 points. It opened at the level of 19,770. During early trading, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 26 were seen rising and only 4 were declining.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency’s IPO will open from today
The IPO of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) will open for public subscription on November 21. Retail investors will be able to bid for the IPO till November 23. The company’s shares will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on December 4.
The company has fixed the price band of this issue at ₹30-₹32. Retail investors can bid for a minimum of one lot i.e. 460 shares. If you apply for 1 lot as per the upper price band of IPO of ₹32, then you will have to invest ₹14,720. Retail investors can bid for a maximum of 13 lots i.e. 5980 shares. For this they will have to spend ₹ 191,360 as per the upper price band.
There was a decline in the stock market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on Monday (November 20), a decline was seen in the stock market. The Sensex closed at 65,655 with a fall of 139 points. Nifty also fell by 37 points. It closed at the level of 19,694. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 saw a decline and 10 saw a rise.
