Delhi IGI Airport: Despite strictness at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, gold smuggling is not stopping. Once again gold worth about Rs 2.5 crore has been seized at the airport, which was smuggled from Bangkok. The accused has been arrested under the Customs Act, 1962 and further investigation is underway. The surprising thing is that this gold has been extracted from a tetra pack of juice.
On the basis of profiling, Customs@IGI Airport have seized gold bars weighing 4204GMs valued at 2.24 Crores brought by One Indian national from Bangkok. The pax has been arrested under Customs Act, 1962. Further, investigations are underway. pic.twitter.com/qOQTd0uwGj
