Bihar’s Madhepura DM’s Fortuner car crushed four people on the highway, killing a mother, daughter and another person. One person was badly injured in this accident. In this case, eyewitnesses have claimed that the DM of Madhepura was also in the car at the time of the accident and he fled from the spot on a bike after the accident.
According to media reports, this accident happened near Phulparas Purwari Tola at around 8 am in the morning, where a Fortuner car going from Darbhanga towards Madhepura crushed a woman and her daughter on the roadside, then two people working on the nearby highway. The workers were also trampled. After this the vehicle stopped after hitting the railing.
Let us tell you that this accident happened on National Highway 57 near Purwari Tola of Phulparas police station area. In which it is being told that the car with DM’s nameplate first crushed the laborers working on the side of the highway, and then hit the mother and daughter. After the accident, when nearby people started gathering at the spot, four people riding on the Fortuner fled from the spot on bikes.
Eyewitnesses say that dead bodies were lying on the road. Local people admitted them to the hospital, out of which treatment was started on one person in critical condition, while three people had died.
The names of the deceased include Rajasthan resident Ashok Singh, local Gudiya Devi and her 7-year-old daughter. A person named Ashok Singh is seriously injured in this accident. Local people told that DM Vijay Prakash Meena was also traveling in the Fortuner. His driver, a policeman and a girl were also in the car, who fled on a bike after the accident. After this accident, local people blocked the highway demanding justice.
DPRO’s official statement has also come in this matter. In this matter, Madhepura DPRO Kundan Kumar Singh says that there was some technical fault in the vehicle. How the accident happened is a matter of investigation. DM was not in the car at the time of the accident.
Madhubani Police has said that while saving the NHAI personnel on NH-57 under Phulparas police station, Madhepura DM’s vehicle collided with the divider. Due to which 2 people died and 2 people were injured.
