On behalf of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, a demand has been made to register an FIR on Tuesday (21 November) for making objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Advocate Vineet Jindal has filed an FIR with Delhi Police against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.
He has currently lodged a complaint with Delhi Police. Delhi Police will take the decision to register an FIR on this. It is noteworthy that while addressing a rally in Jalore for Rajasthan Assembly elections on Tuesday (21 November), Rahul Gandhi had called PM Modi a panauti.
What did Rahul Gandhi say?
While addressing the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi had said, “PM Modi will go to the cricket match, it is a different matter that he will lose the match, Panauti! PM means Panauti Modi.” He said that our boys would have won the World Cup. But Panauti made him lose the match.
Earlier, BJP had expressed strong objection to this statement of Congress MP and asked him to apologize.
