Bigg Boss 16 fame Ankit Gupta needs no introduction today. After the TV serials Balika Vadhu and Begusarai, ‘Udaariyaan’ made him a well-known name in every household, but unfortunately, in this path of success, he also had to face casting couch.
Ankit called this incident the worst experience of his life. He said that when such things were happening, he was shocked and had taken his steps back. On this initiative of forming a physical relationship, he replied, ‘I said I am not one of those boys and even if I am, I cannot do this.’
He further explained, “Okay, you don’t want to do it, but at least let me touch it (private part). Right from the top. I was shocked and asked myself, “What is happening?”
In an interview, Ankit spoke openly about his casting couch experience. He said, “I have met such people that I can’t even tell you about them. There are people who call you with offers, they tell you a lot of stories and they take a lot of names. For example, I created it, I launched it, they will say anything to make you understand.”
Ankit revealed everything from one such bad incident that happened to him regarding casting couch to refusing this ‘agreement’. This famous actor of the TV industry, who was also seen in the first season of Bigg Boss, told how he was pressurized to have a physical relationship with her in the name of giving her work.
Ankit was told, “Everyone does this, Ankit. Do you want to work in the industry? That’s how things are done here. You will not do this now, but he will come after 2-3 years and then he will say do it now, you will not want to waste your 2-3 years in this industry.”
He further said, “I have met such people. I don’t know whether I should say this on camera or not, he would go down on his knees and say, at least let me touch your (private parts). That’s all, nothing else.”
