Problems like acidity, constipation and stomach upset are inevitable due to eating junk food, overly spicy dishes and oily food. Yoga is useful in getting rid of all these problems. Along with fitness, yoga also proves to be very beneficial in removing many types of health related problems. During a conversation with Local 18, Gokul Bisht, founder and yoga trainer of Sadhak Yogashala located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, says that constipation can be caused by eating disorders, eating too much oil and spices.
This problem is seen not only in the elderly but also in children. But the digestive system of the elderly is much weaker than that of children, hence this is seen more in them. Constipation can also cause many other types of complaints like headache, rashes, mouth ulcers. People troubled by this remain sitting on the toilet seat for hours. People can get rid of this problem by doing yoga every morning. By doing these 3 yogasanas regularly, problems like constipation and acidity can be cured.
This asana is very effective in constipation. This asana also helps to relieve body fatigue. To do this asana, lie on the bed and fold both legs together. Then place your knees on your chest and hold your legs with both hands.
To do this asana, first lie down on the ground on your stomach. After that, join your feet together and keep your palms near your chest in line with your shoulders. Also, keep your body comfortable by keeping your forehead on the ground. Taking a deep breath, lift the front part of your body upwards and keep both the hands straight.
To do Balasana, first of all bend your legs and sit in Vajrasana. After that, take both your hands up and bend forward. After that take your palms on the ground. After this, take your head towards the ground. Doing this asana not only helps in reducing obesity but also relieves body pain and mental stress.
