Tata Motors has announced to increase the prices of its commercial vehicles on Monday (September 18). The increased prices will be applicable from October 1.
If you want to buy Tata commercial vehicles, then you have the opportunity to buy them at low prices till 30th September i.e. for 12 days. After this, these vehicles of the company will become expensive.
The company said in its exchange filing that it has decided to increase the prices of different models and variants of commercial vehicles by an average of 3%.

Tata Motors has also given the reason for increasing the prices in the filing. The company has said that due to the increase in the overall input cost i.e. the making cost of the car, the company has decided to increase the prices of its passenger vehicles.
Prices increased for the fourth time this year
The company has increased the prices of its vehicles for the fourth time this year. Earlier on July 3, the company had announced to increase the prices of passenger cars. The company had increased the prices of different models and variants of cars by 0.6% from July 17. Last time also the prices were increased due to increase in costs.
The company had earlier made changes in components to make its vehicles comply with the new emission norms. For this reason, the prices of commercial vehicles were increased by 5% from April 1. At the same time, in February, Tata Motors had announced to increase the prices of all its ICE passenger vehicles by an average of 1.2%.
Tiago-EV price increased by almost Rs 20,000
Whereas from February 10, 2023, Tata Motors had increased the price of its Tiago-EV by approximately Rs 20,000. The second phase of BS6 has been implemented in the country from April 1 and due to this the making cost of the company’s cars has also increased. This is the reason why companies are increasing the prices of their vehicles.
Tata Motors sells a range of passenger vehicles, which include cars like Tiago, Tigor and Altroz. Whereas SUVs include cars like Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. Whose price is between Rs 5.54 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. On Thursday, April 13, Tata Motors shares closed at Rs 468.85, up by Rs 3.35 (0.72%).
