Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of this year. In such a situation, political activities have increased in the state. Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also visited the state, where he addressed an election rally in Kota and targeted the Gehlot government over the prices of petrol and diesel.
Addressing the people, he said, “In Assam, everyone gets petrol at the price of Rs 98 per litre. We are on the north-eastern border, 3000 km away from Delhi, where petrol is available at Rs 98. Whereas in Rajasthan, petrol is priced at Rs 98 per litre. The price is Rs 108.
Diesel is available for Rs 90 in Assam
He said, “At first I was surprised to know this, but I thought that there is something wrong with the prices of petrol. After that I saw the price of diesel in Rajasthan, here diesel is available for Rs 93 40 paise, whereas in Assam its price is only Rs. It is Rs 90. So we also buy diesel for Rs 3 less.”
Electricity is also expensive in Rajasthan
Assam CM told that after this I told my chairman that you should compare what is the price of electricity in Rajasthan and Assam? So he told that sir, our price is lower than Rajasthan. Addressing the public, Sarma said, “Now see, if the price of petrol is high in Rajasthan, the price of diesel is also high and if electricity is also expensive, then how high will be the inflation in your place?”
