With both Anant Chaturdashi and Eid-e-Milad falling on the same day, there is a possibility of increased pressure on the police. In that case, Navi Mumbai Police had appealed that Muslim brothers should take out a procession the next day on the occasion of Eid. After this appeal of the police, the Muslim community has decided that the Eid-e-Milad procession will be taken out on the second day of Ganesh Visarjan i.e. 29th September. A similar decision was taken by the Muslim brothers of Nashik in a meeting with the police last week. This decision of the Muslim brothers is being welcomed by the police and Ganeshotsav mandals.
