Government has one month’s time
Jarange has given the government one month’s time to resolve the reservation issue. Therefore, during this time, Jarange had said that he would also withdraw his fast unto death. However, their position was that they would withdraw their fast from the hands of Chief Minister Shinde. So finally Chief Minister Shinde entered Antarwali village, discussed with Jarange and requested him to end the fast.
Following the Chief Minister’s request, Jarange has also ended his hunger strike. Interestingly, even though the hunger strike has been called off, Zaranj has already made it clear that the series of hunger strikes will continue. Jarange Patil had taken the stand that he would end his hunger strike at the hands of the Chief Minister.
