targeted the government
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijay Wadettiwar asked, “The state is facing drought, there is crop loss in Marathwada, Western Vidarbha, North Maharashtra and parts of Western Maharashtra due to lack of monsoon, double sowing is being done at many places. “Why is it that the state government is turning a blind eye to this reality? Why is it that the triple engine government is afraid of declaring drought in the state?”
He also said that the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers are busy with other issues instead of providing relief to farmers and the agriculture sector. The Chief Minister is inactive. While one Deputy CM is busy campaigning in Rajasthan, the other is busy holding meetings of departments over which he has no authority.
