Asaduddin Owaisi On Women Reservation Bill: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday (September 19) placed a demand before the government regarding the Women Reservation Bill (Nari Shakti Vandan). He said that there should be a quota for Muslims and Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the Women’s Reservation Bill.
Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad, said, “Who are you representing? Those who are not represented. Representation should be given to those who are not represented. The major flaw in this bill is that there is no quota for Muslim women in it and that is why we are against it.
