Gujarat Titans fast bowler Yash Dayal came into the limelight in IPL 2023 after hitting Rinku for 5 sixes. He is now once again in the news. Actually, Yash Dayal had posted a story on Instagram about ‘Love Jihad’. After this he came under the target of Islamists. However, now he has clarified that his Instagram account was hacked and this story was uploaded.
What was in the story…
A cartoon about love jihad was posted on Yash Dayal’s Instagram story. In this cartoon, Hindu girls were shown killed by Islamists after making them victims of love jihad. The Sakshi massacre of Delhi was also depicted in the cartoon. Not only this, in the cartoon a young man with a cap on his head was shown with a knife in his hand. This young man tells the girl, “There is nothing like love jihad. Everything is propaganda. I love you.” Whereas, the girl was shown saying, “I know you are different Abdul, I trust you blindly”.

Yash Dayal came under attack from Islamists after this story came to the fore. After this Yash Dayal posted another story on Instagram. In it he wrote, “Sorry guys, the story was posted by mistake. Please don’t spread hatred. Thank you. I have respect for all communities and society.”

Even after Yash Dayal uploaded the story and apologised, the Islamists could not stop calling him ludicrous. However, after this Yash Dayal has uploaded a story giving clarification. In this story, he has said, “Dear friends, today two stories were posted from my Instagram account. Both the stories were not posted by me. I have reported the matter to the authorities. I believe the story was uploaded by someone else running my account. I’m trying to regain control of my Instagram account. I respect all communities and today’s photo does not reflect my faith.”
