Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the moto scooter with H-Smart technology. Car-like features have been given in the scooter. It also gets an updated digital display that shows real-time mileage, average mileage and distance to empty. It is the third scooter from the company after the Activa and Activa 125 to get the smart key.
Apart from this, Dio is equipped with features like Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, Smart Start and Smart Find. The company recently launched Activa 110 and Activa 125 with H-Smart technology feature. The company has also updated the scooter as per the BS 6 Phase-II emission norms.

The price of the standard variant of the Honda Dio has been increased by Rs 1,000 and the DLX now costs Rs 74,212 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the new Dio have started and deliveries will commence soon. Honda Dio will compete with TVS Scooty Zest, Hero Xoom in the Indian market. Four color options are available in the scooter. These include Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Diesel Yellow Metallic and Matte Marble Blue Metallic.
