Sameer Wankhede Received Threat: Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede surrounded by allegations of alleged bribery in the drugs-on-cruise case involving Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan (Sameer Wankhede) has claimed that he is receiving threats in the name of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Sameer Wankhede said in a statement to the police, “I am receiving threats in the name of Dawood Ibrahim from a fake Twitter account. He told that his family is also being given these threats. According to police sources, after receiving the threat, Wankhede informed the senior officers of Mumbai Police, after which the matter is being seriously investigated.
Sameer Wankhede’s arrest stayed till June 8
Actually, CBI has registered an FIR against Wankhede. The agency says that Sameer had demanded 25 crores in exchange for the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan in the drugs case. In this case, apart from Sameer, the agency has registered a case against 4 more people. However, to avoid his arrest, Sameer approached the court, after which the court stayed his arrest till June 8. Along with this, the court had given instructions to Wankhede that he would not make public the WhatsApp chat with Shah Rukh Khan during this period and also would not talk to the media.
Sameer gave the slogan of Satyamev Jayate
Earlier, the Central Investigation Agency had questioned Sameer for about 11 hours in the case on 20 and 21 May. Before appearing before the agency, Sameer had given the slogan of Satyamev Jayate.
