Gynecologist and Civil Surgeon of Sagar District Hospital, Dr. Jyoti Chauhan has given advice on what kind of problems women or pregnant women may face when they step out in the sun during summer.
Dr. Jyoti Chauhan has explained the damage caused by it and the methods of prevention. He said that if possible, pregnant women should not come out of the house when it is very hot in the afternoon. If it is very necessary to leave, cover your head and leave. The more you go out in the hot summer, the risk of dehydration will increase. If you have to go out of the house, then take drinking water with you. Avoid outside food and drink. If you have taken food and drink from the open then infection can occur.
Giving example, he said that if we are standing to drink juice of a sugarcane shop and there are flies. If he drank sugarcane juice to quench his thirst when his throat was dry. Generally the ice that is put in it is not of good water. In such a situation, diarrhea can start in pregnant women. There will be less water from their body. This can cause dehydration in them. There may be a condition of unconsciousness. There may also be a need to offer water (sline).
The civil surgeon of the district hospital said that pregnant women should be very careful. Must drink at least 3 to 5 liters of water daily in summer. If there is no dehydration vomiting, diarrhoea, there is another disease which we call fainting. It takes frequent urination. Urine will start burning. Later, giving cold may lead to fever. The only way to avoid this is to carry water with you. Keep taking beverages from time to time. Take homemade beverages. Don’t eat outside food. Cover your head and go out in the sun.
