Banaras Hussain is alleged to have raped girls as young as 11 years. It also came to light during the court trial that a policeman had let him off despite catching him having sex with a victim inside a parked car. On Banaras Hussain’s demand, a government official told the prisoners to go through a very complicated process before going to the open jail. At the same time, he said that whoever breaks the rules set during the open jail, he is sent to jail again.
Sammy Woodhouse, 37, one of the women Hussain assaulted, described him as the most dangerous man in the country. Describing him as ‘one of the most dangerous men in the country’, Sammy said that he had also committed crimes like kidnapping, raping and torturing several children. According to Sammy, those children have grown up now but they still struggle every day to forget the terrible incident that happened to them. Describing herself as a victim, Sammy criticized the system for being too weak to deal with criminals like Hussain.
Let us tell that in open jail, the prisoners are not locked in their barracks. Along with this, they are also allowed to choose employment. Before being sent to this prison, the behavior of the prisoners is monitored by the authorities for a long time.
Significantly, the grooming gang remains a major problem for Britain. It is claimed that Muslims associated with this gang have so far raped more than 5 lakh non-Muslim girls in Britain. The current Prime Minister of Britain, Rishi Sunak, had given information about the formation of a task force against this gang, assuring to end it at any cost.
