Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took stock of the repair work going on overnight at the site of the Balasore train accident on Saturday. During this, in Balasore, more than one thousand laborers kept on removing the debris throughout the night. The Railway Minister gave guidelines to the employees engaged in the work of removing the debris. Apart from this, the work of removing debris from 7 Polken machines, 5 JCBs and 2 big cranes continued on a war footing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inspected the spot on the previous day. During this, he also met the victims in the hospital.
