What did the Congress say?
The Congress had said in its manifesto that we believe that the law and the constitution are sacred. In such a situation, if any person, organization like Bajrang Dal or PFI spreads hatred and enmity, we will take action. These organizations may be among the majority or among the minorities. If anyone violates the constitution, we will ban such organizations under the law.
Politics was done regarding Banjarag Dal
A lot of politics was also done on the election promise of Congress. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said on this that this is an attempt of the Congress to lock up the devotees of Bajrangbali. Countering this, Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda had said that it is not right to associate Lord Hanuman with Bajrang Dal.
Let us inform that Congress had won 135 out of 224 seats in Karnataka. Whereas BJP won 66 seats and JDS was reduced to only 19 seats. After this it was expected that Congress would take action against Bajrang Dal.
