Air India Flight: An Air India flight going from Delhi to San Francisco, USA, had to make an emergency landing in Magadan, Russia on Tuesday (June 6) due to technical fault in its engine. After which, on Thursday (June 8) morning, a new aircraft from Mumbai took off from Magadan to take the passengers to San Francisco. In fact, the airline had already informed that the aircraft would fly to San Francisco on June 8 carrying all the passengers and crew members stranded in Magadan.
Air India aircraft had a technical problem in the engine on Tuesday, due to which its emergency landing was done in Magadan, Russia. Along with this, there were 216 passengers and 16 crew members in the aircraft. After the emergency landing in Magadan, Russia, passengers were facing many problems ranging from language to food. In view of this, food and other essential items were also sent for the passengers and crew members stranded in Russia in the new aircraft dispatched from Mumbai.
Passengers stranded in Russia had to face many difficulties
According to the report of NDTV, the passengers stranded in Magadan, Russia had to face many problems during this period. From children to the elderly, everyone was very worried about the language, food and living conditions. Gagan, one of the passengers, said, “The situation was challenging for us in Magadan. Our bags were in the plane and we had to face a lot of problems to stay here. Some people were sent to a school, where they were sleeping on a mattress on the floor. There was no toilet facility either. From the language here to the food is also very different. There is seafood and non-veg in the food. Some people were only drinking bread and soup.
