The first phase of the construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed by December 30 this year. This information was given by Nripendra Mishra, President of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Monday (May 22, 2023). He told that after the completion of the work of the first phase, the devotees will also be able to have darshan.
Mishra said that the work on the first and second floors of the Ram temple would be completed by December 30, 2024. It is our endeavor that from December 30, 2023, devotees can worship Lord Rama in this temple. He told news agency ANI, “The temple trust has decided to complete the first phase of Ram temple construction by December 30, 2023. In the first phase, there will be five pavilions on the ground floor. The most important of these is the sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of the Lord will be installed.

Mishra told that about 160 pillars were used in the construction of five pavilions. In them the work of iconography (images and symbols) is to be completed. In the lower part of the temple, there will be references to Lord Rama. Electricity and other facilities are to be completed on this floor. All these works will be completed by 30 December 2023. He told, “The first and second floor of the temple, including the parkota, will be completed by December 30, 2024.”
Recently, the Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had tweeted pictures of the construction of some idols. It was also told, “Beautiful idols are being made on the basis of stories described in classical texts to be decorated on pillars, pedestals and other places in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. These idols will be installed at designated places as per the schedule of the construction process. In the media report, quoting the sources of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, it has been told that the idol of Ramlala will be 51 inches, which will be installed on the platform built in the sanctum sanctorum. Apart from this, 3600 other idols will be installed in the temple. There are also reports that the Uttar Pradesh government is planning to develop Dharmanagari Ayodhya as a tourist destination as well. Under this, a tent city will be built at a distance of about one kilometer from the Ram temple.
