BMW India has launched the updated BMW Z4 M40i Roadster in the country. The company has introduced this luxury car only in petrol variant, whose initial price has been kept at Rs 89.30 lakh (Delhi ex-showroom).
Its booking has started with the launch, which will be available at all BMW dealerships across India from June next month. The company has imported the car from Germany, which will get a standard warranty of two years. The car achieves the speed of 0 to 100 Km/H in just 4.5 seconds.
BMW Z4 M40i : Engine
The BMW Z4 M40i is powered by a 2998 cc 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine, which is tuned with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine generates power of 335 bhp and peak torque of 500 NM. The car gets three driving modes (EcoPro, Comfort and Sport). According to the company, the car will get a mileage of 12.095 Km/L.
BMW Z4 M40i: Design and Features
The car has a retractable fabric roof, which can be opened and closed in 10 seconds. Along with this, it has a new kidney grille with horizontal inner structure design, large air intake, new LED headlamp, soft-top, new air vents around the front wheel arch, rear spoiler, diffuser on the rear bumper and dual exhaust pipe. .
Apart from this, the car has 19-inch alloy wheels, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment display in the cabin. The BMW Z4 M40i has been given many features like active park distance control, rear view camera and driving assistant function.
On the other hand, in terms of safety features, the car has front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake assist, cornering brake control (CBC) and dynamic brake control (DBC).
