Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust: The construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on in full swing. Nripendra Mishra, head of the construction committee of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said on Monday (May 22) that the first phase of the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya would be completed by December 30 this year.
Nripendra Mishra, who was the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said that the construction of the temple is being done in three phases. Devotees will be able to enter the temple after the completion of the first phase. Speaking to news agency ANI, Mishra said, “In the first phase, five ‘mandaps’ will be built on the ground floor, besides other works.”

Mishra told that about 160 pillars have been used in the construction of five pavilions. In them the work of iconography (visual images and symbols) is to be completed. Brief description of Lord Ram will be started (in the first phase) in the lower part of the temple and electricity facility and other facilities will be completed. All these works will be completed by 30 December 2023.
Statue installation by the end of this year
Nripendra Mishra said, “The first and second floors of the temple including the parkota (outer perimeter) will be completed by December 30, 2024.” He further told that the idol of God will be installed by the end of this year and devotees will be able to have darshan.
Mishra said that efforts are being made to complete these works by December 30, 2023. When asked by when the construction of the entire temple would be completed, committee chief Nripendra Mishra said that the temple complex would be ready in December 2025.
