Psycho Gulls: People were intoxicated, now there is a problem of birds being drug addicts in front of the UK police. Seagulls now found on some UK beaches are also being found intoxicated. The exploits of these birds have tightened the air of the administration. Seagulls are found in some marine areas of the UK. Seagulls have always believed in snatching food from people. Till the time they were snatching food, there were not so many problems, but now these birds have started snatching a drug named Spice from people. According to The Daily Star report, due to this drug, there has been a change in Seagull’s behavior.
People shared experience
Kevin Robertson, a resident of Hastings, shared his experience. Kevin also used to use Spice earlier. Kevin told how the seagull used to follow them. According to Kevin, he used to go to any extent to snatch Spice. If they did not get these drugs with us, they would have seen the joint in our hands and would have snatched it and run away. People have seen such strange acts of seagulls in many other areas. Apart from Hasting, Margate, Kent, Culleton-on-Sea, Sussex and some major cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and London have also been reported by locals.
this drug is dangerous
According to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Spice, also known as “K2”, is a synthetic marijuana that has been created to mimic the effects of THC. Which is a component of cannabis itself. Those seagulls who use this drug do strange things. That’s why people call them “psycho gulls”. One man saw such an act of seagulls with his own eyes. First the seagull stole a bag of spices, then flew away, bumping into pedestrians and pouncing on them.
Extremely dangerous to people and animals
The effects of spice can be quite powerful and sometimes dangerous in humans. At the same time, its different reactions have been seen with seagulls. According to the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, synthetic marijuana, unlike cannabis, is created in a lab. Many public health centers have also issued advisories against its misuse. In many cases, it has been seen that even if a person leaves these drugs, its effect does not end. A similar case has also been seen in America. A report from the University of Guelph in Ontario showed that dogs were the most common victims of THC.
