AIMIM members said that they will sing the national anthem, Bharat Hindustan Zindabad bol denge, but not Vande Mataram.
AIMIM members argued that this program is not of BJP. This is the program of the mayor and the councillors. He alleged that the BJP indulged in hooliganism during the swearing-in ceremony and that too in the presence of the District Magistrate and police officers.
On the other hand, BJP councilors say that these people are the followers of Jinnah… they are the people of Owaisi… who want the partition of the country. He said that whoever does not sing Vande Mataram will be given a befitting reply.
