Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will be on a four-day visit to India from May 31 at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. Foreign Ministry sources here gave this information on Friday. This will be Prachanda’s first foreign trip after taking over as prime minister for the third time in December last year.

Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs said that the visit will take place from May 31 to May 3 and the ministry will make a formal announcement on Saturday.
Foreign Minister NP Saud’s associate officer said, “The Ministry of External Affairs will formally announce the official visit of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda on Saturday. The visit will be from May 31 to June 3 and apart from meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will hold other high-level meetings. The official said, “The preparations for the yatra are in the final stages.”
Meanwhile, Nepal’s Ambassador to India Shankar Prasad Sharma met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi this week and discussed Prachanda’s upcoming visit.
