The Fact India: The 1000th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played on Sunday between the two champions Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals. In this match of the 16th edition of IPL, Mumbai defeated Rajasthan by six wickets. Playing first, Rajasthan scored 212 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. In response, Mumbai won the match by scoring 214 runs losing four wickets in 19.3 overs. The match was very exciting. In the last over, Mumbai needed 17 runs to win.
