Naveen Kumar from Balasore, Odisha has taken admission in Sweden to study forensic science. He says- I used to study in India only, but there are very few opportunities in forensic science here.

The trend of going abroad for studies is increasing in the country. The market for consultancies that help you move abroad is also growing. Such consultancies are opening across the country.
Sameer Yadav of Gujarat’s Consultancy ‘No Borders’ says- 4 years ago, 30% children from low income households from small cities and towns were going abroad to study. This number has doubled to 60%. These children are going abroad by mortgaging their homes or agricultural land.
Adarsh Khandelwal, CEO of Education Consultancy Collegify, says – Fraud cases have also increased. Recently, Canada has deported 700 Indian children. He was admitted by the agent fraudulently.
