Kerala News: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) caught a Pakistani citizen in Kerala with drugs worth Rs 25 thousand crores. After which the arrested accused named Subair has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the Magistrate Court.

Major action under Operation Samudragupt
Regarding the matter, Deputy Director General Sanjay Kumar Singh told that a successful operation has been done against drug smugglers. Apart from India, these seized drugs were also to be sent to Sri Lanka and Maldives.
If we talk about Operation Samudragupt, then since the month of February last year, 4 thousand kg of drugs have been recovered. On the other hand, if we talk about these drugs, then NCB got this drug in 13 sacks, which weighed about 2525 kg.
Drugs recovered in 134 sacks
According to the Narcotics Control Bureau, these drugs are high grade methamphetamine, which costs a lot. According to officials, the weight of the seized drugs is 2525 kg. If we talk about the cost, then the cost of this drug has been estimated at Rs 25 thousand crore. When NCB recovered these drugs from a Pakistani national, at that time this drug was in 134 sacks and methamphetamine was kept in a packet of one kilogram.
The Chief Vigilance Officer of NCB told that this entire matter was done carefully under the supervision of Deputy Director General (Operations) Sanjay Kumar Singh. Sanjay Singh recovered 2500 kg of methamphetamine from Death Crescent while operating at sea in Kochi under Operation Samudragupt.
NCB has claimed that these drugs are brought to India through Afghanistan. This is the biggest seizure of methamphetamine by NCB so far. This is the third major seizure made by the NCB in the last year and a half to stop smuggling through the southern sea route.
