The second qualifier match of IPL 2023 will be played today. In this match, the teams of Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians will be face to face. Whoever wins this match between the two teams will reach the final, while the journey of the losing team will end here in the IPL. In such a situation, the captains of both the teams would like to win this match at any cost. But before this match, a new problem has arisen in front of GT captain Hardik Pandya. This problem is regarding the selection of playing 11.
Pandya stuck in this dilemma
Actually the team of Gujarat Titans has performed brilliantly this year. His team finished first on the points table this year. Team captain Hardik Pandya makes very few changes in his playing 11. This is the reason that his team is second only to CSK in the list of teams making the least playing 11 changes this year. But in the first qualifier against CSK, Hardik Pandya suddenly made a big change in his playing 11, leaving Yash Dayal out of the playing 11 and giving Darshan Nalkande a chance. This was Darshan Nalkande’s IPL debut match.
Darshan Nalkande was seen in a bit of trouble after the match against CSK. It seemed that he had some kind of injury. In such a situation, a big problem in front of captain Hardik Pandya is that whom he will now give a chance in his playing 11. However, there is no update regarding Darshan Nalkande’s injury. Yash Dayal also got a chance to play only one match after that match played against KKR. Pandya does not make much change in his playing 11. In such a situation, he will take the field with almost the same playing 11 with which he went in the last match.
The playing 11 of Gujarat Titans could be like this
Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Hardik Pandya (c), Dasun Shanaka, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Darshan Nalkande / Yash Dayal, Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmed, Mohammed Shami
