Weather Forecast: The month of May has started with pleasant weather. However, the weather has remained dry due to rain since last 1 week. According to the Meteorological Department, today (May 1), it may rain in many states of the country including the national capital. Due to rains from May 1 to May 4, the weather will remain pleasant in many states.
On May 1, the maximum temperature in the capital is estimated to be 28 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 21 degree Celsius. Along with this, strong winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 25-35 kmph. There is a possibility of hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.
According to IMD, on Monday, Gohana in Haryana and Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Rajound, Assandh, Safidon, Deoband, Najibabad, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Meerut, Kithore, Amroha, Moradabad, Garhmukteshwar, Hapur, Gulouti, Siyana in UP. Light rain may occur in nearby areas of Secunderabad, Bulandshahr, Jahangirabad.

What is the condition of Jaipur and UP?
According to the Meteorological Department, till May 3, heavy rains are expected in many parts of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Kerala for the next 4 days. There is a possibility of wind (40-50 Kmph) with rain in some areas of Rajasthan’s Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur. There is a possibility of hailstorm at some places in Jaipur. In many areas of Uttar Pradesh too, there is a possibility of hailstorm along with heavy rain.

Snowfall will continue in Shimla for the next few days. There may be snowfall along with rain in most areas of Uttarakhand. According to the information, there is a possibility of snowfall in areas with a height of more than 3500 meters. According to the Meteorological Department Bhopal Center, there is a possibility of rain in Jabalpur, Mandla, Dindori, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior today. Apart from this, the department has issued ‘Orange Alert’ due to rain in many areas. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of rain in Bihar, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha.
