Bhopal. The results of higher secondary and high school conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education were declared on Thursday. This time the results of Higher Secondary were worse than last year, the successful students are about 17 percent less as compared to last year. State Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Inder Singh Parmar declared the results of class 10th and 12th board examinations. This year, 55.28 percent regular candidates and 18.15 percent self-study candidates have passed in Higher Secondary examination. 52 percent regular boys and 58.75 percent regular girls have passed the examination. Last year the results of Higher Secondary were 72.72 percent, while the percentage of results this year is 55.28 percent, which is about 17 and a half percent less.
The Education Minister said that those who have failed should not worry. Such students will be given one more chance to succeed under the ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ scheme. Life is not determined on the basis of marks, success and failure are just the scale of efforts. Students can earn success by re-effort and hard work.
Board of Secondary Education Secretary Mr. Srikant Banoth said that 63.29 percent regular candidates and 17.11 percent self-study candidates have passed the High School Certificate Examination by the Board of Secondary Education. And 60.26 percent regular boys and 66.47 percent regular girls have been successful in this examination.
He informed that this year 8 lakh 15 thousand 364 candidates appeared as regular candidates and one lakh 30 thousand 971 candidates appeared as self-taught candidates in the High School Certificate Examination. There were 104 cheating cases in the examination, which is minimum in previous years. Today the results of 8 lakh 15 thousand 202 regular candidates were declared. Of these, 3 lakh 39 thousand 441 candidates passed in first division, one lakh 73 thousand 290 candidates passed in second division and 3 thousand 224 candidates passed in third division. In this way, a total of 5 lakh 15 thousand 955 candidates have been successful in the examination, whose result has been 63.29 percent. 82 thousand 335 candidates have obtained the eligibility of supplementary. The supplementary examination for the High School Certificate year 2023 will be held from July 18 to July 27, 2023. This year also, according to the previous year, the candidates who have failed in two subjects in the high school examination have been given supplementary eligibility.
Banoth informed that this year 7 lakh 27 thousand 44 candidates and one lakh 15 thousand 567 candidates appeared as self-study candidates in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination. This year, 55.28 percent regular candidates and 18.15 percent self-study candidates have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination. 52 percent regular boys and 58.75 percent regular girls have passed the examination. There were 137 cheating cases in the examination, which is the minimum in previous years.
Today the results of 7 lakh 26 thousand 39 regular candidates were declared. Of these, 2 lakh 79 thousand 257 candidates passed in first division, one lakh 21 thousand 507 candidates passed in second division and 602 candidates passed in third division. In this way, a total of 4 lakh one thousand 366 candidates have been successful in the examination, whose result has been 55.28 percent. One lakh 12 thousand 872 regular examinees have obtained eligibility for supplementary. The Higher Secondary School Certificate supplementary examination for the year 2023 will be held on 17 July 2023. This year, the candidates who have failed in one subject in the Higher Secondary Examination have been given supplementary eligibility.
