The film ‘The Kerala Story’ has earned Rs 157 crores in India in 13 days. It is shown in the film how Hindu girls are first trapped in the trap of love, then they are converted to Islam and married, after which they are trafficked and sent to the terrorist organization ISIS. They are brainwashed. They are made sex slaves of terrorists. Now ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ has compared this incident with the works of Pandit Shankhdhar.
56-year-old Pandit Shankhdhar lives in ‘Agastya Muni Ashram’ located at Madinath, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. His real name is Krishna Kumar Sharma. They get married such loving couples, in which the boys are Hindus and the girls are Muslims. ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ has claimed that till now they have conducted 78 such marriages (now this figure has become 79). The newspaper has presented it by saying that there Muslim girls are first converted to Hinduism, then they are married to Muslim boys.
At first glance, it seems that some business is going on to trap Muslim girls. All this has been written in spite of the fact that a Muslim girl herself approached him in 2013 and he got her married only after her insistence. He is receiving death threats, yet ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ is engaged in bad propaganda against him. He himself has told that Muslim girls or Hindu boys approach him for marriage, first of all the documents are checked whether he is an adult or not.

‘Dainik Bhaskar’ should know that there is a difference between systematically preparing Muslim youths to trap Hindu girls by Maulanas and voluntarily contacting a Pandit for marriage by a loving couple. ‘The Kerala Story’ exposes one such network as Pandit Krishna Kumar Sharma aka Shankhadhar helps couples who have no one to follow the legal process despite threats from fanatics.
OpIndia spoke to Pandit Shankhdhar, exposed the propaganda of ‘Dainik Bhaskar’
OpIndia spoke to Pandit Shankhdhar of Bareilly to know his side of the story. He told that he started this work from 2013. The reason for this was a Muslim girl contacting him. The said Muslim girl had told him at that time that a Hindu boy had cheated her after falling in love with her. After talking to the boy’s family, it was found that they were not ready for the marriage because of the girl being a Muslim.
In such a situation, Pandit Shankhdhar tried to convince him. After this the girl complained to the police. Whereas the girl was saying that whenever she will marry her lover only, otherwise she can embrace death. In the complaint given to the police, the girl accused the boy of sexually abusing her and refusing to marry her. After this the boy’s family members contacted Pandit Krishna Kumar Sharma alias Pandit Shankhdhar. The girl was also ready, so they got married.
This cycle started from that time and after this episode was posted on Facebook, such loving couples started contacting him. Those who used to come to get married, even after listening to their problems, Pandit Shankhadhar was forced to get them married. Pandit Shankhdhar explains how many Hindu girls are also converting to Islam and doing Nikah to marry Muslims, then why can’t this happen in case of Muslim girls if things are happening voluntarily?
Pandit Shankhdhar says that by following the legal procedure, this work has started getting done easily ever since Yogi Adityanath’s government was formed in Uttar Pradesh. He says that due to this the fear of criminals started coming out of the minds of the people. Muslim girls also started thinking that no untoward incident will happen in CM Yogi’s government with proper law and order and no one can harm them, so they also started coming forward.
Pandit Shankhdhar says that people had not even dreamed that the law and order in UP could be so tight. They say that even at night, girls can go out for a walk in UP, no one can molest them. He says that because of this the morale of Muslim girls also increased and they started feeling that by converting to Hinduism, they would be saved from the practice of polygamy, they would not have to go through shameful things like triple talaq-halala.
He said that he mostly refuses in such cases, but in some cases he is forced to get married because boys and girls say that they have no other option and will be forced to commit suicide. Pandit Shankhdhar consults lawyers and checks all the documents before conducting such marriages. They get Dakshina in hundred-thousand. Sometimes their money is also used.
He told that many such loving couples and Muslim girls came to him, who had left the house and were stumbling here and there for many days. Some were even cheated by the lawyers. He has copies of the affidavits of all those who have been married. He told that in most cases the Muslim girl and her Hindu lover come together. He contacts organizations like ‘Bajrang Dal’ and ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’, the people of the organization take him to Pandit Shankhdhar.
Pandit Shankhdhar is working as the metropolitan promoter chief of ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)’. Earlier he was the district in-charge of ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’. This organization belonged to Yogi Adityanath, a long-time MP from Gorakhpur, who deactivated it after becoming the chief minister. Pandit Shankhdhar was also associated with Hindu leader Kamlesh Tiwari. Remind that Islamic fundamentalists had killed Kamlesh Tiwari in Lucknow on the allegation of insulting Prophet Muhammad.
Pandit Shankhdhar was also connected with Kamlesh Tiwari through Facebook. Both used to talk to each other. Pandit Shankhdhar says that he has been associated with Hindutva since the beginning and he has been seeing how due to appeasement, Hindus are treated like vermin. He said that when the victims are Hindus, no one asks them, but if something happens to a Muslim, Congress-leftists create hue and cry, candle marches are held.
Pandit Shankhdhar said, “This is a country of Hindus only and no one is going to listen to Hindus. Such circumstances used to make me very sad. Everyone should have the right to equality in a democracy. ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ compared these things to ‘The Kerala Story’, where Hindu girls end up with a lot of plight. While Muslim girls are happy in the case of Pandit Shankhdhar, they are freed from the shackles of Sharia by marrying a Hindu lover.
Pandit Shankhdhar says that Hindu girls are being thrown into the furnaces of Islamic terrorists, they are trapped under a conspiracy by seducing them, brainwashing them and pressurizing them. This is what happens in ‘The Kerala Story’. While what Pandit Shankhdhar is doing, there is a world of difference with it. They say that nothing like this happens in their place. There is no brainwashing here, girls come here of their own free will, they come here after being fed up with Islamic customs.
There elements nurtured by terrorists carry out such incidents, while here girls come in search of a good life. Giving this example, Pandit Shankhadhar says that there are many girls who are also taking training in dance and music, which is forbidden in Islam and all this is not possible while living in a Muslim family. These Muslim girls dance, have fun and enjoy their freedom. Everyone is living a happy life, while the only option left for the girls in ‘The Kerala Story’ is death or worse.
‘Dainik Bhaskar’ presented the work being done by Pandit Shankhdhar as if he is sending Hindu boys to brainwash Muslim girls. There is neither any terrorist organization nor any systematic network here. He challenges that if there is even one loving couple whom he has already taught something, then he will leave this work. He told that many times he has to spend money from his pocket for other things ranging from Havan materials.
Do they get the cooperation of the police-administration? Answering this, Pandit Shankhdhar says – Not at all. They say that the police-administration remains in a dilemma as to when any disturbance emerges and action should be taken against them. A case is also going on against Pandit Shankhdhar for getting a minor married, but he told that the girl had given Aadhaar card, voter ID and labor card, in which she was a major. But, his relatives tried to prove that he was a minor on the basis of his 10th mark sheet. Before that the boy was threatened for becoming a Muslim.
When the boy refused, a case was filed. He told that ever since the law against religious conversion has been made in Uttar Pradesh, he first sends the girl to the District Magistrate. She goes to the lawyers and gets it written that she wants to convert to Hinduism, then after getting permission from the DM, the marriage takes place. On threats, Pandit Shankhdhar says that he is at risk from those who do not believe in humanity. He said that he leaves the house only 1 percent in a month and is doing his work with faith in God.
