In July 2019, he pledged that Neuralink would be able to conduct its first tests on humans in 2020. Product prototypes the size of a coin have been implanted in the skulls of monkeys. During the presentation, the company showed several monkeys ‘playing’ some basic video games or moving a cursor on the screen through its Neuralink implant. Musk said the company would try to use implants to regain mobility in humans who have lost such abilities.
