What is land for job scam case?
It is noteworthy that at the time when this scam took place 14 years ago, Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Union Railway Minister during the UPA-1 regime. At that time, about 1.05 lakh square feet of land was acquired in Patna to the family members of Lalu Prasad Yadav instead of giving them a job. In this scam, the candidates who paid bribe without taking out advertisements were given jobs in Railways within three days. Not only this, these candidates have used false transfer certificates for the job and also submitted false attested documents to the Ministry of Railways.
