The trial is likely to begin next month, 11 years after actor Saif Ali Khan and two others allegedly assaulted a South African businessman and his father-in-law at a hotel in Mumbai. The Esplanade court’s Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate framed charges on April 24 against Khan and two of his friends, Shakeel Ladak and Bilal Amrohi.
