According to the media house, Rs 45 crore has been spent on the renovation of CM Kejriwal’s official bungalow, but ‘papers’ of more than Rs 45 crore have come to the fore. In the paper that came out, the cost of renovation also seems to be increasing. The renovation work of CM House was well planned. However, changes were made at the behest of CM Madam.
According to the report, major changes were made in the design of the interiors submitted by the consultant as per the requirement of the CM Madam during the decoration. The changes made at the behest of CM Madam include change in material of windows and doors, change in interior, kitchen/laundry and pantry, change in flooring items, structural change in architectural drawing.
Let us tell you that this channel had revealed that CM Kejriwal has spent a huge amount of Rs 45 crore to decorate his Chief Minister’s residence. In the year 2020, when the people of Delhi were moaning due to the devastation of Corona and laborers were leaving on foot for far-flung states like UP and Bihar, then CM Kejriwal was shining the CM House.
Times Now Navbharat had informed that curtains worth Rs 8 lakh were installed in the CM’s residence. Rs 1 crore was spent only on the curtains. A total of 23 curtains were ordered, some of which are yet to be installed and some have been installed. Initially 8 curtains were installed, which cost Rs 45 lakh. In the second phase, 15 curtains were ordered, which were worth Rs 51 lakh.
Not only this, marble was brought from Vietnam to install in the Chief Minister’s residence. It is called ‘Dior Pearl Marble’, which is of superior quality. Its cost is 15 lakh rupees. Also, fitting is done in a different way to apply it. Clarifying on this, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha said that Arvind Kejriwal is a leader born out of the movement and not a fakir. He said that the bungalow was built in 1942, where water used to drip from the roof and the elderly used to face problems.
