Arvind Kejriwal On Operation Lotus: Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal met former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Wednesday (May 24). Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and other AAP leaders were also present with him. During this, Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) once again attacked the BJP regarding the ordinance of the Center.
Accusing BJP, Arvind Kejriwal said that they (BJP) tried ‘Operation Lotus’ two-three times in Delhi to break our party. When they failed, they have brought this ordinance. Kejriwal sought Uddhav Thackeray’s support in the Aam Aadmi Party’s fight against the Centre’s ordinance on regulation of services in the National Capital Region.
Uddhav Thackeray will support
Delhi CM said that Uddhav Thackeray promised us that he will support us in the Parliament and if this bill (ordinance) is not passed in the Parliament then Modi government will not come back to power in 2024. Today, state governments are being toppled by using the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate. The central ordinance related to control of services in Delhi is a reflection of the fact that the Modi government does not trust the Supreme Court.
Kejriwal will meet Sharad Pawar
Kejriwal will also meet Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar today to seek his support in AAP’s fight against the Centre’s ordinance. Earlier on Tuesday, he also met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
“Come Together To Save Democracy”
During this, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that those who (BJP) want to remove democracy from the country, I think they should speak opposition and opposition. He should speak anti-democracy. We all have come here together to save the country and democracy. We have come together to defeat those who are against democracy.
