Lucknow. The examination of Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Board started on Wednesday. Around 41,889 students or 40 per cent left the exam on the first day. Only 68,755 students appeared for the exam in the first shift on Wednesday. 1,01,182 students had enrolled for the exam. In the second shift, 9,462 students left the exam. Board chairman Iftikhar Ahmed Javed said that students are taking the exam at 539 centers spread across 73 districts of the state.
This time the Madrasa exams are being conducted in a strict environment with over 8,000 teachers ensuring a copy-free exam. Monitoring is being ensured with CCTV cameras in all the rooms of the examination centres. A centralized control room has been set up in Lucknow.
The board chairman said that this year the board has provided the facilities of table and chair etc. to the students to write the examination.
No student is sitting on the floor writing copy.
Today, students may say that we are showing strictness by not allowing copying by monitoring them through CCTV cameras, but in the long run it will be beneficial for these students, as they will have knowledge at par with other students, he said. , and they will be able to beat the competition and get top jobs.
Javed said that the endeavor of the board is to improve the infrastructure for the students so that they can compete with the students of top schools.(IANS)
