In the 51st episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi spoke on the youth of the country, the Lok Sabha elections and the death of Saint Shivakumar Swami of the Siddaganga Mutt in Karnataka. He said that for the first time young voters will be able to exercise their vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha. Apart from this, the PM also mentioned about the sports ecosystem, Swachh Bharat, special mission and Andaman tour. The PM said, ‘I reached Andaman and Nicobar Island on 30 December. In a program here, I hoisted the tricolor at the exact place where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had hoisted the tricolor 75 years ago.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 52nd Episode (24 February 2019)
In the 52nd address of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the soldiers martyred in the Pulwama attack and told about their bravery. The PM said, ‘I bow down to all the brave sons of the country who laid down their lives in the defense of Mother India. The martyrdom of the heroes will continuously inspire and strengthen us to destroy terror. The PM further said, ‘The anger that is within you and me due to this incident, that anger is also there in every community that believes in humanity.’ Addressing the youth of the country, the PM said that what is patriotism, what is sacrifice and penance, we should learn from our brave soldiers and their families.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 53rd Episode (30 June 2019)
This was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first and 53rd Mann Ki Baat address after the historic victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In this address, PM Modi said that due to the elections, he got a chance to connect with the people after a long time. He said, ‘I am sorry that the Mann Ki Baat program could not happen because of the elections.’ In his address, the PM congratulated everyone for the successful Lok Sabha elections and Yoga Day. In the 54th episode of Mann ki Baat, PM Modi greeted the pilgrims of Kawra and Amarnath on the occasion of Sawan. Also congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. PM Modi also praised the contribution of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the successful Amarnath Yatra. He said, ‘I want to praise for the success of the Amarnath Yatra. Those who go for the yatra, they become convinced of the sense of belongingness of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. In the 55th episode of Mann Ki Baat, the PM announced the launch of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign’ and the launch of the Fit India Movement. PM Modi said, ‘These days our country is enjoying rain on one side and on the other side festivals and fairs are going on. Regarding Janmashtami, the Prime Minister said that every problem gets a solution in the life of Shri Krishna. PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 56th Episode (29 September 2019)
In the 56th address of Mann ki baat in September 2019, PM Modi greeted the countrymen on Navratri and other festivals. Along with this, he appealed to the youth to stay away from e-cigarettes and drugs. The PM said that a misconception has been created among the youth that e-cigarettes are not dangerous but contain nicotine containing liquids which are equally harmful. Apart from this, the PM appealed to the countrymen to get rid of single use plastic. Also said that there should be no darkness in any house on Diwali festival and no one should be deprived of celebrating the festival.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 57th Episode (27 October 2019)
PM Modi spoke his mind to the people on the day of Diwali. In the 57th episode, while wishing Diwali, PM Modi also said that buy goods made by local people on priority. Apart from this, he talked about celebrating Diwali with vigilance and security. The PM said, ‘We burn firecrackers during Diwali but sometimes clothes can catch fire due to carelessness. I urge you to take care of yourself and celebrate this festival happily. PM Modi also remembered former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He said that October 31 is the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira ji.
PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 58th Episode (24 November 2019)
PM Modi gave his views on the Ayodhya verdict in the 58th Mann ki Baat programme. Appreciating the countrymen, PM Modi said that after the Supreme Court’s decision in the Ayodhya case, how the countrymen kept the country’s interest above all, maintained peace and gave the message of unity.
