On the other hand, female wrestler Sakshi Malik told the media at Jantar Mantar that this is the first step towards victory, but our protest will continue till Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is not sent to jail. We will record our statement in the Supreme Court.
Many well-known wrestlers of the country have been protesting at Jantar Mantar for the last few days. The wrestlers have also demanded that the findings of the committee probing the allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation against Singh be made public. It is worth mentioning that this committee was constituted by the Sports Ministry after the wrestlers staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar for three days in January.
