China Supports Pakistan: Pakistan, which is facing crisis on many fronts including economy, has got assurance of help from its ‘evergreen’ friend China. China’s top diplomat Wang Yi reiterated the assurance of help from Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir, who visited China recently.
Aseem Munir arrived on his four-day visit to China on 25 April. On Thursday (April 27), he met Wang Yi in Beijing. During this, both praised the friendship between China and Pakistan. According to the report of China’s official media CGTN, Wang assured help to Pakistan and said that the Pakistani army is the firm protector of the strong friendship between China and Pakistan.
What assurance did Wang Yi give to Pak Army Chief?
Wang Yi said, “China will continue to firmly support Pakistan in safeguarding sovereignty, achieving unity, stability and development, and playing an active role in the region and the world as a major Muslim country.” Said that China’s strong friendship with Pakistan is vibrant in a tremendous way and they will stand firm no matter what events they face. China’s top diplomat asserted that no matter how the international situation changes, China will always be a strategic partner that Pakistan can rely on.
China ready to start exchange with Pakistan
The senior Chinese diplomat said that China is ready to resume exchanges with Pakistan in all aspects in the post-coronavirus era. Yi also suggested the Pak army chief to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
What did Aseem Munir say?
Aseem Munir said that Pakistan will always stand with China, no matter what the international situation may be. He said that the Pakistan Army strongly supports the further development of Pakistan-China relations.
