Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh, the record of 100 years has been broken by declaring the result of UP Board’s 10th and 12th examination in just 67 days. In the released results, 89.78 percent of high school students have passed, while 75.12 percent of intermediate students have achieved success. CM Yogi has given best wishes to all the passed out students. Along with this, he has also announced to honor the students who come in the top 10 at the state level and district level in the examinations.
It is notable that according to the declared results, a total of 179 students have made it to the top-10 in high school, while the number is 253 in intermediate. A total of 432 students have been included in the top-10 in both the examinations.
The important thing is that UP board exam started one day after CBSE on 16th February but UP board result was declared before CBSE, that too when there are many times more students in UP board than CBSE.
On Tuesday, Director of Secondary Education Council Mahendra Dev and Secretary Dibyakant Shukla gave information about this achievement while declaring the results of UP Board’s high school and intermediate examination. Board director Mahendra Dev said that in high school, Priyansi Soni of Sitapur has secured the top position by scoring 590 marks out of 600. Whereas, Mahoba’s Shubh Chhapra has topped the Inter 500 with 489 marks. Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla said that the Board of Secondary Education has set a record of declaring the results first in the history of 100 years. He told that after the formation of the board in 1921, for the first time the board examination was conducted in 1923. Since then, the board has declared the result in the shortest possible time. Earlier in 2019, the result was announced on April 27 in the shortest possible time. Then the examination started from February 7 and the result was declared in 89 days. This time the examinations were conducted after February 16 and the results were declared in a total of 67 days.
Dibyakant Shukla also told that according to the intention of the Chief Minister Yogi, this year the board had succeeded in conducting the examination without cheating. This is the first time in 30 years when no paper went viral, no wrong opening, no exam canceled and no mass copying. He told that being the world’s largest board, it is a matter of pride that this is the first time in the last 100 years that all the results are complete. Earlier, due to one reason or the other, some results used to remain incomplete. He told that after the declaration of the results, now the Grievance Cell will solve the problems of the students. Grievance Cells have been opened at all Regional Office level, which will start functioning from next week. The problems of the students who have given the application will be resolved here within the time limit. After Monday, the work of scrutiny application will also be started.
CM Yogi congratulated the passed out students by tweeting. He wrote, Hearty congratulations to all the students, their parents and teachers who have passed the 10th and 12th class examinations of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh. All of you are the pillars of the golden future of ‘New Uttar Pradesh’. May the future of all of you be bright with the blessings of Maa Saraswati, this is my wish. In the 10th and 12th board exams, the students who get the top 10 positions at the state level and the students who get the top 10 positions at the district level will be honored by the state government at the district level.
UP Board has also created another history in the evaluation of answer sheets of board exams. UP Board Chairman Dr. Mahendra Dev told that this time the evaluation of answer sheets of UP Board started from March 18. To check the answer sheets, 258 centers were set up in the state, in which a total of 3.19 crore books were to be evaluated. For this, 1,43,933 examiners were appointed. The date for completion of evaluation of answer sheets was fixed as April 1, but the board completed the evaluation a day earlier i.e. on March 31, 2023. This is also a record. For the first time, the evaluation of 20 marks high school examination on OMR sheet was started during the examination itself. The evaluation was conducted in a transparent manner under Section 144 in a radius of 100 meters around the evaluation centers amid tight security and surveillance of CCTV cameras.(IANS)
