Brij Bhushan Singh On FIR: Indian Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh appeared before the media on Saturday (April 29) after the FIR was registered against him and responded to the allegations. Singh alleged that the players are repeatedly changing their statements. He said that when the FIR has been registered then why the players are sitting on dharna.
On Friday, the Delhi Police had registered two FIRs against the president of the federation, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The players went to the Supreme Court demanding this, after which the Delhi Police registered two FIRs against the BJP leader in the sexual harassment case. There is also a POCSO case on the complaint of a minor player. After the registration of the FIR, the players’ strike continues even on Saturday.
Players changing statements again and again – Brij Bhushan
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh accused the players of repeatedly changing their statements and said that these players are bringing new demands everyday. Earlier their demand was that an FIR should be lodged. Now that the FIR has been lodged, it is said that he should be inside the jail. Then they say that they should resign from all the posts including the Lok Sabha.
