The Fact India: The Kerala Story, a film on Love Jihad, has been embroiled in controversies even before its release. The Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, VD Satheesan, questioned the film and termed it as an attempt to defame the state. On the other hand, the filmmaker says that this film is based on true events.
Recently the trailer of The Kerala Story has been released. This film is the story of the sudden disappearance of 32,000 women in Kerala. It is shown in the trailer that terrorist organization ISIS brainwashes these women and sends them on missions by training them to carry out different terror missions in India. The film will release on May 5 in four languages.
VD Satheesan has said that nothing like this had happened in the state which is being shown in the film. The facts shown in the film are wrong. An attempt is being made to malign the image of the state. It is the agenda of the Sangh to sow the seeds of hatred in Kerala. Congress leader Satishan said that he saw the trailer of the film. This trailer is misleading. Through this film, misinformation is being spread about 32,000 girls from Kerala joining ISIS.
It is the Sangh Parivar’s agenda to sow the seeds of hatred in Kerala. Sangh Parivar wants to divide people. Wants to create hatred in our hearts. This film should not be allowed to be released. Satheesan further said that the release of this film means Kerala’s humiliation in front of the whole world. On what basis are they saying that 32,000 missing women from Kerala have joined ISIS? Can he name even one such woman? The NIA has said in its report submitted to the Supreme Court that no such case has come to the fore here.
