The schedule for the coronation of the new King of the UK, King Charles III, has been fixed. The Prime Minister there, Rishi Sunak, will be seen reading a part of the Bible related book in the programme. The name of this book is ‘The Epistle to the Colossians’. He will fulfill this responsibility under tradition. The entire program will run according to the customs of the Christian religion, whose responsibility has been taken up by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The event is to be held at Westminster Abbey.
This program will be organized on Saturday (May 6, 2023). Rishi Sunak is the first person of Indian origin to hold the post of Prime Minister of Britain. He is a follower of Hindu religion. It is being told that the theme of the program will be to bind many communities together, in which case they will have to read a part of the Bible related book. Many Christian pastors will participate in this program. The rules told by Jesus Christ will also be read in the program.
The Prime Minister has to be present representing the government on such occasions of the royal family. The Archbishop of Canterbury continues to set the rules for coronations. The king has to take 3 oaths and make 1 promise, which has not been changed. The king also has to promise to protect ‘Protestant Reformed Religion’, a branch of Christianity. Apart from the people of Britain, they also have to take an oath to serve God.
That’s why, the theme of this program has been kept ‘Called To Serve’. On this occasion, the Chief Pastor said that the program will be organized remembering the traditions of the country and the leaders who were in power earlier. He says that these things will show the diversity of the country. During this, some things of Hindu, Sikh and Islam and Jewish religions will also be shown, so that diversity can be shown.
