Man Ki Baat Radio Show: An event was organized in the national capital to celebrate the monthly radio address to the countrymen in the National Conclave of PM Modi’s radio talk show Mann Ki Baat @ 100. A pregnant woman was also invited to this event, and she was pregnant. There she had labor pain and now she has given birth to a child.
Poonam Devi, who was among the 100 special invitees at the event, went into labor during the event and was taken to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. In an episode of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program, PM Modi mentioned Poonam Devi, a resident of a small village in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP.

Poonam Devi is a member of a self-help group that makes several products from waste banana stems. After the birth of the child, his family said that they are very happy to welcome a new member in their family on such a special day.
The self-help group Poonam Devi works in produces handbags, mats and other items using fiber from banana stems in Lakhimpur Kheri. This is a unique initiative which not only provides an additional source of income for the women in the village but also contributes towards reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices. This initiative of his organization has been widely adopted by many self-help groups in the area.
The program organized on the completion of 100 episodes of Mann Ki Baat was inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur were present during this program.
