Today the business started flat in the stock markets of the country. Sensex turned red with slight gain but within few minutes. On the other hand, Nifty opened with a slight decline. The Sensex was down 24 points, up 24 points at 60155, but started trading down 30 points at 60100 within a few minutes. At the same time, the Nifty was trading down 3 points at 17765 in the beginning, which is later trading down 22 points at 17747. Advances are visible in 23 stocks in Nifty while decline is going on in 27 stocks. In the Nifty, the shares of Eicher Motor, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors are moving fast, while the shares of Hindalco, JSW Steel, Coal India, Tata Steel have fallen.

Today 1984 stocks are trading in Sensex while 1037 stocks have advances and 854 stocks are seen declining. There is no change in 93 shares. There are 63 stocks in Sensex which are at 52-week high, while there are 17 which are trading at 52-week low. In Sensex, upper circuit has been installed in 90 stocks while lower circuit has been installed in 48 stocks.
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, the domestic stock markets rose for the second consecutive day and the BSE Sensex was in profit of more than 74 points. Amid better quarterly results of some big companies, the market was strengthened due to buying in shares of power and some financial companies. However, capital outflows by foreign institutional investors and a soft trend in global markets capped the gains in the market.
Thirty-share BSE Sensex closed at 60,130.71 points with a gain of 74.61 points, or 0.12 percent, in volatile trading. During the trading, it went up to 60,268.67 points in high and came down to 60,202.77 points in the bottom.
The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed at 17,769.25 points with a gain of 25.85 points, or 0.15 percent.
